1. Why can't I find the product I'm looking for?
Here’s some tips to help you find the product you are looking for:

  • The search bar that appears on every page searches for titles, authors, product code or keywords. Keywords are made up of any word/number that appears in the title, author name, catalogue number or ISBN. Our keyword search doesn't match parts of words, only the complete word. Hence entering 'Book of Saints' will return all products that contain the words 'book', ‘of’ and 'saints' in either the title, authors and product code.
  • Our search engine ignores inverted commas and other punctuation; it is not possible to search for an exact phrase using double quotes. Instead of this, we suggest that you simply enter as much of the phrase as possible. Similarly using a "+" sign or "AND" will not have any effect on the search results.
  • Selecting a department and category where possible can help to narrow down the number of products that are returned. With over 10,000 products in our database it is easy to generate a large list of products, choosing keywords carefully and selecting categories to search within can save time.

2. How do I buy books via www.gattoshop.com.au?
When you find an item on Gatto Shop Online that you'd like to purchase, please click the 'Purchase' button to the right-hand side of the item's title, and it will be added to your shopping basket. Please see below for information about adding more items to your basket, deleting items from your basket, and changing the quantities of items in your basket.

When you're ready to make your purchase, please click the 'Check out' button from your basket, and you will be led through the checkout process. You'll be asked to enter this information:

  • your details
  • shipping details (you can have your order sent to someone other than yourself)
  • payment method - by phone via credit cards, cheque, gift voucher or existing account customer. Please note that payment is required only when a Gatto Shop staff member contacts you with exact costing.

When you've entered this information, your order details will be displayed and you will be asked to confirm those details before your order is submitted to us. You can change any details at this point if you need to.

It's vital that you provide us with valid email address.

3. How do I add or remove an item or change the number of items?
If you have items in your basket and would like to add more, simply search or navigate from the top menu and continue shopping. If you find additional items to purchase, simply add them to your basket by clicking on the 'Purchase' button.

To remove an item from your basket, please click the 'Remove' button in the item's details in your basket.

If you would like to increase or decrease the number of any item that's in your basket, please change the number in the 'Quantity' box, and click 'Update Quantity'.

4. How can I check the status of my online order?
You can check the status of your Gatto Christian Shop online order by email and quoting your online order number.

5. What are your postage and handling rates and charges?

6. How long will my order take to arrive?
All orders placed will be responded to by email daily, at that stage we will advise when goods will be despatched. If you order multiple items and they are not all in stock, we will advise you of their anticipated arrival times, and seek your delivery instructions.

For items not readily available, we'll provide ongoing estimated ship and delivery time frames by email. All our estimates are based on business days and assume that shipping and delivery don't occur on holidays and weekends. All orders will be despatched from our business address at 108 Wanneroo Road, Tuart Hill WA 6060.

7. Can I cancel or update my order?
If necessary, you may cancel all or part of your order, provided you contact us before you receive the email notification that your order has been dispatched. If you would like to cancel or update your order please tell email us immediately.

8. What is your returns policy for online orders?
We will happily exchange or refund at any time, provided the goods are in original* condition and accompanied by proof of purchase. We are unable to refund post/freight/shipping charges (except in circumstances where the goods are faulty, has been described wrongly or does not match the sample shown).

Purchases made via the Gatto Christian Shop Online store can only be refunded by contacting us directly by email. Once we have responded to your email we will advise the appropriate course of action. Items which have conditions are DVD’s/CD’s as below:
* The seal must be intact on CD's, DVD's and similar items
* Educational study aids may only be returned if they are faulty.

9. DVDs
Not all DVDs work in all DVD players!

DVD players and DVDs are labelled for specific geographical regions in the world. There are six major geographical regions, with additional regions reserved for specialised use.*

Australia is in region 4, so some DVD players sold in Australia are made specifically to region 4 specifications. As a result, region 4 DVD players can only play region 4 discs or region 0 (all regions) discs.**

This does not apply to multizone DVD players, which are able to play DVDs from every region.

At Gatto Christian Shop we only stock DVDs from region 1, 4 and 0. If your DVD player is region 4-specific, you will not be able to play region 1 discs.

All region 1 DVDs sold at Gatto Christian Shop will have a sticker on the front to identify them. If you are still unsure about the particular region number of a DVD, please check the back of the DVD package or ask one of our friendly staff.

** Please note there is a small chance you may also have problems playing region 0 discs if your DVD player is region 4-specific.

REGION 6 -- China
REGION 7 -- Reserved for unspecified special use
REGION 8 -- Reserved for cruise ships, airlines, etc ...
REGION 0 or REGION ALL -- Discs are uncoded and can be played worldwide

DVD/VHS formats
The use of DVDs is also affected by the configuration of your television.

There are two main video signal formats used in the Australian television industry: PAL (which stands for the Phase Altering Line) and - less commonly used - NTSC format (which stands for National Television Standards Committee).

All TVs in Australia will play PAL DVDs or videos. However if you have an older TV (ie. bought before 1999), you may be unable to play NTSC DVDs or VHS tapes. All NTSC DVDs sold at Gatto Christian Shop will have a sticker on the front to identify them. If you are still unsure if DVD is in NTSC format, please check the back of the DVD package or ask one of our friendly staff.

10. Want to return something that you purchased via the online store?
To return something you must first contact us by email, we will then give you instructions on how best to return your order so we can process your refund.

11. How can I contact the Gatto Christian Shop Online team?
Should you wish to cancel or update your order details, please have your online order number on hand. Please contact us via email or call us on + 61 (08) 9345 5700 during the business hours, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm. Please note all hours are Australian Western Standard Time.

12. Can I pick up my order from the Gatto Christian Shop store?
If you would like to pick up an item you have found on the Gatto Shop Online, direct from Gatto Christian Shop, please contact our store and place an order directly quoting the relevant product code.

13. How can I pay for my online order?
You can pay by credit card, money order, cheque, account customer or by using a Gatto Christian Shop gift voucher. More information on each of these methods can be found below.

Credit Cards
We accept payment with the following credit cards:

  • MasterCard
  • Visa
  • American Express
  • Diners Club

During the checkout process simply choose to pay by phone, once the order has being picked and is ready to be despatched, one of our staff will contact you for credit card details. We do not charge your credit card until your order is ready to be sent to you, and we automatically delete your credit card details when your order is complete, so we hold your details for the shortest possible time.

Money Orders
During the checkout process simply choose to pay by phone, once the order has being picked and is ready to be despatched, one of our staff will email you confirming total value of order and address to which you should post your money order. We accept payment by money order. When you post your money order to us, please write your Gatto Christian Shop Online order number and your name on the back of the slip. Please do not send your money order to us until you have received advice from us regarding the correct address and value.

Cheque
During the checkout process simply choose to pay by phone, once the order has being picked and is ready to be despatched, one of our on-line staff will email you confirming total value of order and address to which you should post your cheque. We also accept payment by cheque. International customers wishing to pay by cheque must draw a bank draft payable in Australian dollars. The bank draft must be drawn on a bank that has a reciprocal agreement with an Australian bank. After you place your order, we will email you the address to which you should post your cheque, and the correct order value. When you post your cheque to us, please write your Gatto Christian Shop Online order number and your name on the back of the cheque. Please do not send your cheque to us until you have received advice from us regarding the correct address and value. Cheques should be made out to "Gatto Christian Shop Pty Ltd".

Gift Vouchers
We accept Gatto Christian Shop Gift Vouchers as payment for Gatto Christian Shop Online orders. During the checkout process simply choose to pay with a gift voucher. After you place your order, we will email you the address to which you should post your gift voucher. When you post your gift voucher to us, please write your Gatto Christian Shop Online order number and your name on the back of the voucher. If your order value exceeds your gift voucher value, we'll call and ask how you would like to pay for the balance. We cannot issue refunds if your order value is less than your gift voucher value.

To purchase a Gatto Christian Shop Gift Vouchers please visit our online shop, type in gift voucher. Gift vouchers are available in the following denominations:

14. How can I purchase a Gatto Christian Shop gift voucher?
Make someone feel special with a Gatto Christian Shop Gift Card, which you can buy in any value from $25 to $100. Vouchers are available in $25.00 increments. It can be redeemed at Gatto Christian Shop or at Gatto Shop online.

15. Does Gatto Christian Shop have a privacy notice?
Gatto Christian Shop take privacy very seriously and take all available precautions to protect your personal data both when you are entering it with the Gatto Shop online store and once it is stored by us to process your orders. Read our Privacy Policy.
